X Factor's One Direction Told To 'Up Their Game'

Simon Cowell is worried they could be voted off the show soon...

Simon Cowell is said to have warned his last The X Factor act, One Direction, to 'up their game' if they want to stay on the show.
According to The Sun, after SiCo lost girlband, Belle Amie, on Sunday's results show, he has apparently told the five boys the same could happen to them if they don't get their act together.

An insider told the tabloid: "One Direction are one of the favourites. But he is worried that they could be knocked out if they don't up their game."
They added: "The thought of having no more acts leaves Simon cold. The jibes from the other judges would be unbearable."
The music mogul also reportedly gave the lads the chance to put together a list of five songs that they feel will improve their chances of staying in the competition and any suggestions that could improve the group.

Meanwhile, former contestants Belle Amie have accused Cowell of 'caring more' about One Direction than themselves.

Singer Sophia Wardman explained to Viking FM: "I think it’s a lot easier for the boys to do well because they’re five cute boys and the girls are always going to love them and they are really good."

"I think for us, we just wanted a little bit more help, just because it’s harder for us to get people to like us, to get the right song and the right styling."

She continued: "You could put the boys out there in bin bags and sing Baa Baa Black Sheep and they’d go through with flying colours. I think it’s just a lot easier for them than us."
Despite the girls blaming Simon for their early exit from the show, DanniI Minogue's artist, Matt Cardle, has since slammed the girl group, predicting that they will break-up in the next few months, because 'they simply do not get on well enough.'
