Rebecca Ferguson has allegedly "fallen out" with mentor,Cheryl Cole, ahead of Saturday's semi-final and has asked for judge, Louis Walsh's guidance instead.

According to Girls Aloud star's favouritism towards fellow finalist, Cher Lloyd.

Friends of the 24-year old have claimed that Ferguson feels "out in the cold" when it comes to Chezza and Lloyd's relationship, so much so, that she "begged" Louis to be her mentor, becoming the first hopeful to ever demand to switch.

A source told the tabloid: "Rebecca had to watch while Cher and - before she got chucked out - Katie Waissel got all the attention."
They continued: "Cheryl tells her she is great and has a great voice, but Rebecca has felt like the others are the focus."

Tensions between Rebecca and Cheryl are said to have reached breaking point on last weekend's rock themed live show, where Ferguson "burst into tears" backstage, and turned to Louis for help.

The friend explained: "Rebecca turned to Louis as he has always been such a big fan of hers. He gave her some advice and helped her get her confidence back."
They added: "Louis would love to mentor her but it's not in the rules."

Meanwhile, The Sun has also reported that Cheryl could be joined by rumoured boyfriend,Simon Cowell to become the series' choreographer, meaning he will quit rival show, Dancing With The Stars, to join Cowell and Chezza.

A mole told the newspaper: "He is in discussions for the job. Taking it would mean they could be together at home and work."
