New Xbox 'Always Connected To Internet'
Details of Microsoft's next-gen device leaked in development document....
Microsoft's next-generationXboxgames console will require a permanent internet connection, it has been reported.
VGleaks has obtained development software for the system - codenamed Durango - which hints at a number of key features.
Apparently the device will be "always on, always connected", which will allow users to "quickly and easily enjoy their connected entertainment experiences".
The leak claims that it will revert to a low-power mode when not in use, but will be instantly available when required.
Games must all be installed on the hard drive - and apparently the user will be able to continue playing once the download begins.
Each console will apparently come with a "high-fidelity" Kinect sensor and the controller is claimed to be similar to the Xbox 360 version, but "even better".
The new device is expected to be revealed to the world next month - and Microsoft are also believed to be planning to offer a TV service through the console.
