Next-Gen Xbox 'To Be Revealed In April'
Microsoft is reported to be planning to reveal its next-generation console plans to the world at a special event in April.
Computer games website CVG quotes several industry insiders - including one at Sony - as confirming the month for the big reveal of the Xbox 360's successor.
The Sony staffer was quoted as claiming that the company had "at first caught Microsoft off-guard" and that "we definitely ruffled some feathers".
Sony revealed details of the PlayStation 4 recently - [uuid=3863c090-cdee-4c13-9552-054b58a06fc3]without actually showing off the console[/uuid] itself.
And CVG also claims that games publishing giant Electronic Arts is set to unveil an exclusive partnership with Microsoft for the new device at the April event.
There was no detail leaked about the nature of the supposed exclusive content.
