Next-Generation Xbox Reveal Next Month?

US blogger says Microsoft will unveil new games console on 21 May...

Microsoft is expected to reveal the next-generationXboxconsole at a launch event next month.
The device, codenamed Durango and expected by many to be called the Xbox 720, was previously expected to be unveiled on 26 April - but now a prominent US blogger reckons the date has slipped to 21 May.
Paul Thurrot named the date in his What The Tech blog - and he also backed-up the growing rumours that the new console will require a constant internet connection.
"Going back and looking at some of the stuff I got a long time ago, it actually says 'must be internet connected to use' - that's in the notes. That's all I have, but it does say that."
Thurrot also reckons Microsoft will be releasing a budget Xbox 360 console later this year - which he claims is codenamed Stingray.
Microsoft recently [uuid=28869a74-9deb-4af8-b0bb-dbd416ea4d92]distanced itself from comments[/uuid] made by its creative director regarding the new device.
