First Look | Here’s What Angel Will Look Like In 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

The first images of X-Men: Apocalypse's Angel have arrived! 

The designs of EastEnders actor Ben Hardy's character were unveiled after Bryan Singer revealed to Empire that the comic-book character would feature in the flick.

Heavy armour, razor-sharp blades for wings and ice blonde hair give the impression the director is portraying a more sinister version of Angel.

Hardy was confirmed to play the latest addition to the X-Men movie after weeks of speculation linking him to the role.

“Ben Hardy is Angel – I shall confirm it for you!” Singer explained. “But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say…”

Ben, who played Ian Beale’s son Peter in the BBC One soap, had already been cast for the movie, however, details of who he would be playing were kept secret.

X-Men: Apocalypse is out May 19, 2016.
