X-Men: Apocalypse Cast Reveal If Taylor Swift Really Is In The Movie

So everyone thinks Taylor Swift is actually a mutant.

Understandable right? I mean, she's an out-of-this-world pop queen. That’s not a run-of-the mill human.

There’s an actual reason though, with proper evidence and everything: when Sophie Turner, star of X-Men: Apocalypse tweeted a picture from on set of the new movie, eagle-eyed fans spotted an Easter Egg in shot.

The image shows Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers in a record store, holding a record – by none other than Dazzler, classic 80s X-Men character with mutant vocal abilities. And, as Swifties were quick to point out, she looks a lot like Tay…

The mall scene was cut from the movie – which sucks because it sounded great. So, we quizzed new X-Men stars Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp (who plays Storm) and Ben Hardy (Angel) on what went on in the deleted scene… and most importantly, is that Taylor?!
