Michael Fassbender Pitches Magneto Ideas To X-Men Writer
Magneto star has his own ideas about story lines for his character...
X-Men: Days Of Future Past actor Michael Fassbender has revealed he’s got his own ideas about storylines for his character Magneto.
And he’s already pitched them to producer and screenwriter Simon Kinberg.
In an interview with IGN, Fassbender said of the sequel: “I haven’t got a script or anything yet, but I’m always excited to see where Simon Kinberg’s going to go with the next X-Men.”
He went on to say: “I’ve had a lot of fun with the cast and with the character, Magneto. So I had a good chat with Simon when we were on our way to Moscow, and we tossed around some ideas on the plane over there.
“So I’m pretty excited to see how it all comes together.”
But the actor - who plays the younger incarnation of the metal-bending mutant - sadly didn’t let anything slip about his ideas.
“Well, I can’t really tell you,” he said. “I want it to be in the next one.
“I’ve had these conversations with Simon and there’s a certain strand of his story that I think is pretty interesting and would like to explore, if we could.”
X-Men: Apocalypse is slated for a May 2016 release.
