Peter Dinklage 'To Play Main Villain In X-Men Movie'

Peter Dinklage has been recruited to play the main villain in the forthcoming Marvel Studios superhero sequel X-Men: Days Of Future Past, it has been reported.

There was no information on what role the Game Of Thrones star would play when director Bryan Singer announced via Twitter that he had joined the cast earlier this week.

But now Variety say that sources have claimed he will play "the main antagonist" in the film, which is due to begin shooting in April.

We told you earlier today how Nicholas Hoult had been speaking about the prospect of working on the movie.

It has previously been reported that most of the new movie will be set in 1973.
