X-Men: Days Of Future Past Gets New TV Trailer
Fresh footage from superhero sequel revealed in The Walking Dead advert break in US...
Movie fans have been given a glimpse of new footage from forthcoming superhero sequel X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
A trailer for the 20th Century Fox blockbuster ran during last night's season finale of The Walking Dead on AMC in the US.
Opening with a dramatic vista of a burned and ruined cityscape, the promo features a voiceover from series veteran Patrick Stewart - who plays Professor Charles Xavier in the movies.
"So many battles waged over the years and yet none of them like this," he begins portentously - as snippets of action involving the film's mutant heroes and villains follow one another.
He continues: "Are we destined to destroy each other? Or can we change who we are and unite? Is the future truly set?"
Uniting the casts of the original X-Men movies and prequel X-Men: First Class, the new film is directed by Bryan Singer and set for release on 22 May in the UK.
Two of the movie's biggest stars - Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy - have filmed an interview clip to promote a Virgin train being "wrapped" with an advertisement for the film.
In their informal chat they discuss the merging of the two casts and joke about their travel arrangements.
A new poster of Jennifer Lawrence in human form in the movie was revealed last week.
