These three kings could be sitting on the Official Singles Chart throne this weekend...

Years & Years are on for a very exciting weekend with their new single King looking set to end Ellie Goulding's four week reign as Queen of the Official UK Singles Chart.

A comfortable 32,000 copies ahead of Love Me Like You Do, which sits at No.2 this week,the MTV Brand New For 2015 nominees are an almost-shoe-in for this week's Official Chart Update and we couldn't be more proud!

Elsewhere in the midweek Top 10this week's second-highest new entry at No.3 comes from Marlon Roudette with When The Beat Drops Out while Rihanna climbs one spot to No.4 with FourFiveSeconds.

Hozier falls three places to No.5 with Take Me To Church and The Weeknd falls two to No.6 with Fifty Shades tuneEarned It.

Down four to No.7 this week is Mark Ronson's BRIT Award-winning Uptown Funk Ft. Bruno Mars and Alex Adair makes his UK Top 40 debut at No.8 with Make Me Feel Better.

James Bay's Hold Back The River falls one place to No.9 and Kelly Clarkson rounds off the Top 10 with Heartbeat Song.
