17 Up And Coming YouTubers And Influencers Set To Do Big Things In 2017

Get yours subs box ready for loads of whole new faves.

Forget the New Year, New You stuff, because the only thing that really needs a fresh start in January is your subscription box. Of course you’ll still be watching all of the usual suspects and forever faves, but a true internet fangirl can never have too many channels to watch or Instas to scroll through - and that’s where we come in.

We’ve hunted down a shiny list of 17 up and coming YouTubers, bloggers and general influencer sorts who are definitely destined for big things in 2017. Whether you’re all about the high street hauls, snooping on someone’s daily vlogs or just want a good laugh, these are the guys and gals you need to know about this year.

1. Trey Schafer

If you’ve binge-watched Chasing Cameron on Netflix already, it’s probably safe to guess you’re already in love with Trey. If not, prepare to be. With the power of MAGCON already under his belt, as well as an incredible voice (and face, let’s be real), big things are coming soon for Trey with the launch of his own music. Listen to some snippets on his Insta and fall in love.

2.Megan Ellaby

Y’know those girls on the internet who you just WANT TO BE? Megan is the #1 of those girls. Her unique style blog is the ultimate bible of anything and everything that is cool in the world, and her recent venture into making YouTube videos means that she’s totally gonna take over the fashion scene one statement jacket at a time in 2017.

3.Zoe London

Like your fashion and beauty with a little bit of edge, and a load of babein’ blue hair? Then look no further than Zoe, who’s here for all the girls and guys who feel like they maybe don’t necessarily fit in with the typical ‘beauty guru’ thing. Just be warned though - you WILL want My Little Pony hair after binge watching her vids.

4. Jazmyn Bieber

Nope, the surname is not just a weird coincidence. She’s Jazmyn Bieber - as in, actual younger sister of Justin Bieber, which is always gonna give you a bit of a head start in terms of subscriber numbers. After posting just one video, Jazmyn has already hit well over 100,000k, so it’s pretty clear that she’s well on her way to becoming KidRauhl 2.0.

5.Fabulous Hannah

Hannah’s upbeat, sassy personality sets her apart from the rest, and while you’ll find all your favourite kinda content regularly posted on her channel (GRWMs, tutorials, routines and stuff), it’s her endless positivity, awesome sense of humour and unique little video twists which will make sure that she becomes your new fave.

6.Grace Victory

Having already hosted MTV’s Sex Squad and launched two BBC documentaries over the past twelve months, it looks as though there’s no stopping Grace in 2017, either. She’s started this year on a strong note by getting frank and honest about her own mental health issues, and has promised that more kickass, taboo-tackling content is coming your way very soon. Slay.

7.Lewys Ball

Fact: you will want to be best friends with Lewys. Not just because he could teach you how to get flawless brows, perfect winged liner and the ultimate glow but he’s also all kinds of hilarious, creative and super duper lovely. We give it ’til the end of the year before he’s the face of a major beauty brand.

8.Naomi Victoria

Naomi’s subscriber count has gone into overdrive for the past few months, as more and more people have started to discover her oh so pretty face and oh so awesome, girly content. Imagine all of your favourite, pastel-inspired tumblrs come to life, mixed with friendly, big-sister-BFF chat, and it’s basically Naomi’s adorable YouTube channel.

9.Saffron Barker

Saffron’s YouTube channel exploded in 2016, and it’s definitely not showing signs of slowing down any time soon. Not only is she super gorgeous and an expert on all things beauty (the girl can slay a red lip), but her pranks and challenge vids will have you laughing ’til you wee yourself a bit. The ultimate combo, tbh.

10. Lucy Moon

Lucy’s all about the self-love, feminism, music and honest discussion about things that really matter, meaning that her content can totally vary from one week to the next. But one thing that always stays the same is her vulnerability, light humour and ability to remind you that you are not alone. She’s WONDERFUL.

11. Hannah Gale

Ever feel like you’re having a slight/major crisis, or like you kinda have no idea what you’re doing with their life? Then you need Hannah’s lovely blog bookmarked for daily reading. Her content is hilarious and heartfelt, full of life chats and confessions that will make you laugh and make you feel vaguely normal. Get reading asap.

12.Brogan Tate

You only have to have a quick scroll through Brogan’s Twitter to see why her growing audience love her so much, because the words ‘relatable’, ‘lovely’ and ‘down to earth’ are all over the place. Viewers literally plan their evenings around watching her honest and super-normal weekly vlogs, and 2017 looks set to be the year that even more people fall in love with Brogan’s personality.

13.Gina Box

If you’ve ever been on Instagram before (probs quite likely), there’s a high chance that you will have seen Gee’s lovely face. The girl is EVERYWHERE, thanks to her killer makeup skills attracting attention from Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Her Insta account is slaying the game for 2017, while her YouTube channel is a little hidden gem full of dreamy beauty tutorials.

14.Vix Meldrew

Y’know that friend who’ll sit you down and tell you that you’re dating a shitbag and you deserve better, before spilling a load of stuff about sex which you didn’t know you wanted to know? That’s Vix, except she does it through incredibly funny features on her dating blog which will have you cry-laughing. 2017’s gonna be a big year for her, as she’s already penning potential books and organising her own dating events. Yaaas.

15.Liv Purvis

After literally years as queen of all of our outfit inspo, Liv is blogging royalty these days. Whether it’s the perfect girly fashion pieces or her ultimate travel guides to every trendy city going, her website is pretty much the only corner of the internet you need this year. Oh, and check out her YouTube too ‘cos she’s a right cutie.

16.Brendan Jordan

When it comes to Brendan, it doesn’t take a genius to see the amazingly inspirational impact that his content has already had since he came out as trans early last year. His boundary-pushing content has caught the attention of literally everyone in the LGBTQ+ community from RuPaul to Miley Cyrus, and we’re already excited to see where his groundbreaking journey takes him in 2017.

17.Nathan Z

Nathan Zelalem, aka Nathan Zed, aka TheThirdPew, is a YouTuber that first began blowing up back in 2015 and who is now killing the game. Big name fans include actual John Green, and Nathan’s sub count is rocketing thanks to his ability to tackle some serious issues with honesty, energy and shitloads of genius humour.

*BONUS* - Mark Ferris

Oh you totally know who Mark is by now - he's BFFs with Zoella and Alfie Deyes and a regular on their snapchats and channels after all. But Mark is also fast becoming one of our YouTube faves thanks to his ridiculous collabs, cute vlogs and generally hilarious ways. Basically we just with he was our best mate and we're not even sorry.
