Guess Which British YouTuber Just Landed A Spot On Celebrity MasterChef
Hope he's got his buttery biscuit base in order.
Hold onto your buttery biscuit base as one of your favourite British YouTubers has just landed himself a starring role on the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.
Yep, the one and only Marcus Butler will be taking to your telly screen this summer ready to fight it out with 19 other celebrities in a culinary battle to the death*.
(*The phrase 'to the death' may or may not be fully interchangeable with 'a totally calm and non-violent cooking competition that in no way resembles the restaurant equivalent of The Hunger Games')
Taking to Twitter to drop the news, Marcus said: "I'm super excited to share that i'm gonna be on celebrity master chef!"
Also on the lineup for this year's show - which returns to BBC One next month - are Paralympian Liz Johnson, Sugababe Amelle Berrabah, former popstar Simon Webbe, TV presenter Cherry Healey, Sinitta and Amy Childs.
That sounds like some stiff competition to us, but we're pretty sure Marcus will have a few tricks up his very fashionable sleeves, thanks mainly to the fact that he's already known on the internet for his love of a healthy recipe.
Now, we're no expert on tactics but hands up if you think Marky Butt-Butt needs to do a rap cover of Buttery Biscuit Base to celebrate. Pretty sure John Torode and Gregg Wallace would have to give him some bonus points for effort, so it'd be a win win sitch for all involved.
What do you make of all this? Reckon Marcus has it in the bag?
