Zac Efron Lives All Your Dreams As Hugh Jackman Saves Him From A Burning Building
The building later burnt down to the ground.
Whether you're a girl or a guy, we're guessing that when it comes to your wildest dreams, having Hugh Jackman swoop in and carry you out of a burning building is pretty up there. Particularly if it all ends in a nice squeeze of his biceps and perhaps a little mouth to mouth too.
Well guess what? Zac Efron has not only actually lived this dream irl, but has confirmed that it's every bit as magical as you'd imagine.
You see, the pair are currently working on new circus musical (really) The Greatest Showman and in one scene, Hugh was supposed to carry Zac out of a flaming building. But what the actors didn't realise at the time was that the pyrotechnics had got a little too fierce - so much so that the building housing the set actually burnt down later that night.
"It started to get late, and some of the pyrotechnics got a little bit too hot," Efron told MTV News at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
"We burst out of the building. It looked great on camera. We didn't know it [at the time], but it was pretty intense. I watched playback, and [Hugh] saved me from a burning building. It later exploded that night. It was a set, but it later burned down.
"It was pretty awesome," Zac adds "Hugh Jackman saving you from a burning building? It's every girl's dream!"
Every girl's dream? Think you mean every human and animal on the whole entire planet's dream, Zac.
