Tom Daley might have been named the sexiest man in the world just last week, but it seems that doesn't mean he's the hottest hunk.

The diver was knocked off the top of Heat magazine's annual poll by movie star Zac Efron this year - possibly thanks to the toned abs he displayed in Bad Neighbours.

Daley was second on the list with David Beckham in third and McBusted's Harry Judd fourth.

Ryan Gosling, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper and Henry Cavill also made the top 10 - along with Fifty Shades Of Grey star Jamie Dornan.

And there was a surprise inclusion for Gary Barlow at No 7.

Heat editor-in-chief Lucie Cave said: "Sometimes the endless procession of sexy celebrity men can seem insuperable.

"Leafing through image after image after image can be tough, but Heatworld users managed it – they voted in their thousands and selected Zac Efron as the hottest man alive. For their fortitude and courage, we thank them."
