Zac Efron 'Completed Two Separate Stints In Rehab'

Zac Efronis thought to have completed two separate stints in rehab earlier this year.

On Wednesday (September 18) it was revealed that Efron checked into rehab five months ago, with conflicting reports claiming he sought help for either alcohol or drug addiction.

TMZ claim the actor first entered rehab in March for several weeks to seek help for cocaine addiction, with the website adding he relapsed in April.

The former High School Musical actor's issues with the drug apparently coincided around the time he was shooting Seth Rogen flick Neighbors in LA, with TMZ alleging that Zac wasn't showing up on set.

A source added that the 25-year old's substance abuse was "common knowledge" among the crew.

Despite his reported problems, Zac was back on form as he attended the Toronto International Film Festival this month for the premiere of his new flick, Parkland - which tells the story of President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963.

Efron, who plays Dr. Jim Carrico in the movie, told E! at the event: "I'm good, real good."

A source added that following his rehab stay, Zac is "healthy, happy and not drinking", adding: "He's taking time to focus on working."
