Zac Efronhas spoken about his [uuid=eeeae96a-7fd2-4e35-8d30-b04c0bbab7ac]recent spell in rehab[/uuid], explaining that he's never felt happier in the past few months.

Last September, it was claimed that the former High School Musical star entered a facility to seek help for either drug or alcohol abuse - with it widely reported that he was getting treatment for cocaine addiction.

Now during an interview on The Today Show alongside his That Awkward Moment co-stars Michael B Jordan and Miles Teller, Zac insisted that he's now well on the road to recovery.

When asked about his current condition, Efron replied: "I'm in the best place that I've ever been. I've never been this happy before."

Speaking of his co-stars, he added: "I'm extraordinarily grateful for these guys and to be here promoting this movie. Things are good. Thank you for asking."

The 26-year old [uuid=23571fc3-6fff-45b3-af76-3769f3380302]previously hit the headlines[/uuid] in November after breaking his jaw when slipping over outside his LA home.
