Zach describes his new film as “a celebration of love of family. Whereas Garden State was about the first romantic love…this is a celebration of love that comes from our family….family is all that matters”
Zach Braff co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Adam and describes “Wish I Was Here” as being in the spirit of Garden State and Scrubs.
The movie stars Zach Braff, Kate Hudson, Josh Gad, Joey King, Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), and in smaller roles, Jim Parsons (Big Bang Theory), Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga) and Donald Faison (Scrubs).
