YOUR FAVOURITE MTV SHOWS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON PARAMOUNT+

New Music Round Up: Clean Bandit, Zara Larsson, Kasabian, Frank Ocean & More

Also featuring Tinashe, who, like the rest of us, spent the week riding around New York City on a fire truck. (Her new single, 'Flame', is out too.)

SINGLES

Clean Bandit Ft. Zara Larsson – ‘Symphony’

Question: you’re Clean Bandit and you’ve got a new single coming out, but this one won’t have Anne-Marie and 'Sean Paul '(!) featuring. Who do you call?

Answer: one of the world’s most exciting pop stars, Zara Larsson (who has an album out today), and a 50+ person orchestra.

Clean Bandit’s tearjerker new music video is below. Tissues at the ready.

Frank Ocean – ‘Chanel’

“I got two versions, I got twooooo versions.”

Following his feature alongside Calvin Harris and Migos on ‘Slide’, Frank Ocean is back again. The first version of ‘Chanel’ features Frank on his own, his gorgeous vocals taking centre stage (just check that sublime bridge at 1:30) with slight, minimalistic, stripped-back production swaying in the background. The second version is a remix featuring A$AP Rocky, who, fun fact, works for MTV now. Check out both versions below.

Kasabian – ‘You’re In Love With A Psycho’

Kasabian are back and want to "save guitar music from the abyss.”

With bands like Yak, Pumarosa, Spring King and more making real headway these days, guitar music might not be in 'such a pickle, 'but it wouldn’t be Kasabian if they didn’t make big statements, would it? This is why their fans love them. 'You're In Love With A Psycho' is about as close Kasabian have come to writing a full-on pop song. Check it out.

Here’s a fact: Serge Pizzorno, Kasabian’s guitarist and the mind behind the band, calls his studio the ‘Sergery’.

Charli XCX & Mura Masa – ‘1 Night’

Following the release of her free mixtape, Number 1 Angel, Charli’s back with the steel-drum, rose-tinted Mura Masa collab, ‘1 Night’.

TCTS, Sage The Gemini & Kelis – ‘Do It Like Me (Icy Feet)’

Kelis has taken a break from writing her cookbook (yes, that’s actually happening) to hop onto this TCTS & Sage The Gemini banger.

Tinashe – ‘Flame’

Is Tinashe, who spent the week promoting ‘Flame’ by driving around New York City in a fire truck (same), 'finally' going to get the radio hit that she deserves?

G-Eazy Ft. Kehlani – ‘Good Life’

How has 'The Fate Of The Furious' soundtrack managed to rope in this much talent? There’s G-Eazy and Kehlani on ‘Good Life’, but, elsewhere, Migos, Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert also feature on a soundtrack packing in as many bangers as the film packs explosions. And cars. And muscles.

Machine Gun Kelly Ft. Hailee Steinfeld – ‘At My Best’

First it was with Camilla Cabello, and now Machine Gun Kelly is on board with former MTV PUSH artist Hailee Steinfeld.

Linkin Park – ‘Battle Symphony’

Linkin Park continue to hurtle forwards withtheir new, pop-driven sound. Give ‘Battle Symphony’ a chance.

ALBUMS

Zara Larsson – 'So Good'

It’s been almost two years since ‘Lush Life’ crashed in and dominated the airwaves, but the 19-year-old Swedish pop superstar, Zara Larsson, has finally released her debut album!

Pitbull – 'Climate Change'

“MR WORLDWIDE!”

And with that, Pitbull’s latest album begins exactly as you’d expect it to. He’s one of a kind, that Pitbull.

Check out the new LP, featuring an eclectic list of collaborators (including Jason Derulo, Ty Dolla $ign, Robin Thicke, Travis Barker, Leona Lewis and more), below.

Drake - 'More Life'

Okay, so this one isn’t out yet. ('More Life' drops tomorrow, March 18.) But it’s Drake that we’re talking about here, so it’s worth placing a little reminder in, right?
