Pharrell Williams’ childhood is set to be turned into a Romeo and Juliet-style musical.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the coming-of-age tale will chronicle Williams’ early years in Virginia Beach, Va.
Apparently, since Williams had a big success as a producer on the Oscar-nommed Hidden Figures, and because of a renewed interest from moviegoers in musicals (see: La La Land), Hollywood big wigs reckon this Pharrell musical could be a hit.

Rag'n'Bone Man, Kano & Mac Miller confirmed for Lovebox
Kano, Mac Miller and MTV PUSH artist Rag’n’Bone Man have been added to Lovebox 2017’s impressive line-up.
They’ll join the likes of headlining artists Frank Ocean (!) and Chase & Status, as well as a bumper card featuring Solange, KAYTRANADA, Jamie xx, Jess Glynne, Chase & Status and more. It's a stellar bunch of names, no?
Lovebox will be celebrating its 15th anniversary over 14 & 15 July, in London’s Victoria Park.
