On Tuesday (January 12), Zayn Malik celebrated his 23rd birthday – making it yet another year of outstanding selfies and strong jawlines.

But while it was a fairly low-key event on his side, Zayn’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid was sure to commemorate the occasion, and it was pretty damn sweet.

We already knew that Z016 was a thing, but thanks to the supermodel, we shall now refer to all of Zayn’s birthdays as ZDay from here on in.

In an Instagram post, Gigi paid tribute to the big day (and even gave it a yellow heart emoji to celebrate) – but she didn’t stop there.

She also added a picture of her (I mean, we’re assuming it’s her despite the lack of face) sporting a bit of sparkly bling with a big fat ‘Z’ in the middle.

How come when Gigi does this, she looks great, but when we did that for our crush back in junior school we were made fun of?

Anyway, that’s about all the coupley goodness we got from Zayn’s birthday, but hey, Gigi’s 21st is only three months away.

We reckon that’s going to be pure Zigi GOLD.
