Zayn Malik reportedly lost it with pal Naughty Boy on Twitter as he “didn’t like not being in control” of his new music, a source has claimed.

Yesterday, the former One Direction star sent the social-networking site into a frenzy after hitting out at the ‘La La La’ hitmaker for apparently leaking video footage of himself in Krept & Konan’s video for collaboration ‘No Type’.

A clearly annoyed Zayn tweeted: “@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we're friends no one knows you.

“Someone learned how to upload a video... maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain't s**t but a faker.”

Ouch! An insider has since commented on their spat, telling The Sun that Malik blames Naughty Boy for leaking his solo material, stating: "Zayn was very close to Naughty Boy when he left One Direction. But previously they had only spent the odd day together once a month in between his touring commitments.

“Now they were in each other's company every day in the studio - and eventually drifted apart a few weeks ago. It's a long time to spend with someone and the studio is a pretty confined space.”

They added: “Zayn is angry about the music that got leaked and blamed Naughty Boy. Zayn didn't like not being in control. This has been the sparking point."

Naughty Boy is yet to directly respond to Malik’s comments, but the producer did tweet the cryptic “Don't feed the hand that bites you” before erm, s**t literally hit the fan.
