ZAYN Is Heading For His First Solo No.1 But Can Rihanna Work Her Way To The Top?

There's no time for 'pillowtalk' as we take a look at this week's chart battle in today's Official Chart Update...

ZAYN could be headed for his first solo No.1 single this Friday as 'PILLOWTALK' storms it's way to the top of today's 'Official Chart Update'.

Currently 23,000 combined chart salesahead of his nearest rival -Jonas Blue's dance rework of Tracy Chapman's'Fast Car' who's climbed one place to No.2 this week - ZAYN looks pretty good to firmly make his mark as an independantartist since leaving One Direction last year.

Rihanna's 'WORK', however, continues to climb, racing to No.3 this week ahead of current chart-topper Shawn Mendes, who looks like he'll fall to No.4 with 'Stitches' later this week.

Justin Bieber places at both Nos.5 and 6 with 'Love Yourself' and 'Sorry' while Snakehips slip two spots to No.7 with 'All My Friends' Ft. Tinashe & Chance The Rapper.

One Direction fall two places to No.8 with 'History' while Craig David and Big Narstiemakea break for the Top 10 with 'When The Bassline Drops' currently teasing themat No.9.

Rounding off the midweek Top 10 are Danish soul-poppersLukas Graham who shoot up 14 places with '7 Years'.
