Zayn Malikfans with tickets to see him perform solo inJapan have been refunded after the former One Direction singer cancelled a number of gigs he was due to perform there.

According to The Sun, the shows were initially rescheduled before being cancelled altogether with the reasons given beingthe fact Zayn is just too busy'planning his debut world tour' and that there's beena 'change in the recording shedule'.

However a super secret 'insider' apparentlyreckons the singer's anxiety could be the real reason behind the cancellationsand tells the paper: "If he never performs, there's a danger his solo career will flop."

The 24-year-old pullled out of performing at Capital's Summertime Ball last year, later admitting his anxiety was the reason for his decision.

Andwhile Zayn could be worried about taking tothe stage completely solo, it's worth noting thatthe starspoke to The Times earlier this yearabout facingsimilar struggles throughouthis time as one fifth of 1D.

In thehonest interview Zayn also revealed he struggled with an eating disorder, claiming eating was the only thing he had 'control over' in his life thanks to their exceedingly busy schedule.
