Zayn Malik Claims Certain Members Of One Direction Haven't Spoken To Him Since Quitting: 'People Have Pride Issues'

We're actually in shock.

When Zayn Malik shockingly quit One Direction last year, he told the world he 'knows he has four friends for life' in his band mates.

So it comes with a heavy heart for us to tell you that that nine months later that's not exactly the case, as Zayn throws all of the shade aimed directly at Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall.

In a shockingly revealing interview with Billboard mag, the hopeful solo artist explains that they've not remained as close as hoped. At all.

"The truth of it is," he says carefully, "you can think one thing about a situation and the total opposite can happen."

Adding: "I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven’t received calls from a lot of people."

"I’ve reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it’s stuff you overcome in time," he cryptically explained.

Sooo who's not got in touch then? We've got some ideas.

Oh and if you're not already angry enough, here's what he though of Made In The AM:

"I’ll be honest. I thought the first single was quite cool. I heard the second single and" -- he screws up his face -- "yeah, I didn’t buy the album."

We're not going to comment on that.
