Zayn Malik Ditches Naughty Boy For Grammy-Winning Producer To Work On New Solo Album

The former 1D star has apparently teamed up with the man behind Frank Ocean's hit LP...

Zayn Malik is reportedly working with Alicia Keys and John Legend’s producer Malay on his debut solo album.

Following his online spat with Naughty Boy, the former One Direction heartthrob has apparently ditched the ‘La LaLa’ hitmaker and instead spent the past week in the studio with the Grammy winner.

An insider told The Sun: “Malay is a hugely successful producer and is well respected within the industry too.

“After the way his relationship with Naughty Boy ended, Zayn could not be in better hands.”

As well as Keys and Legend, Malay has also previously produced records for the likes of Frank Ocean, 50 Cent and Jamie Foxx.

Malay is responsible for much of Ocean’s critically-acclaimed album 'Channel Orange', which won the Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2013.

Directioners, it seems Zayn is in safe hands then! Malik recently teased that new music could be on the way with the below studio shot and we have to say, we can't wait to hear his velvet voice again!
