Zayn Malik Opens Up About 'Sexual Situations' That Inspired The Album, As Well As His Love For Netflix And Chill With Gigi Hadid
The singer has opened up to Paper magazine about, well, everything.
The Pillowtalk singer has opened up about why exactly his album turned out to be quite so risqué, as he admits it was all down to certain situations that he found himself in at the time.
"It wasn't a conscious decision to make [the album] sexual or refer to sex," Zayn said.
"But I just found out that a lot of situations that I was in were quite sexual situations -- all of the time." He added: "I enjoyed singing about [sex], clearly."
While he also happily sung girlfriend Gigi Hadid's praise, telling the mag that now he's more mature it's all about the personality, with just a little bit of looks.
"I've always said it and I still stand by it: I find intelligence attractive," he says. "When I learn something from somebody and they teach me something, that's an attractive thing for me."
Adding: "Obviously, I find physical appearance attractive as well, but it's definitely squared more towards a personality as I've gotten older, because you can't have a long-term relationship unless you get on with the person. It doesn't matter really about the exterior."
Umm is that a dig at Perrie Edwards, Zayn?
Though he wasn't exactly shy about what he and Gigi are up to most days, adding: "Netflix and chill. Yeah, we do that a lot."
