Adam Levine is STILL talking about the fan that ambushed him on stage earlier this week, joking that the crazed woman is now safely in erm, jail!

The Maroon 5 frontman previously revealed that he was “terrified” when the fan invaded the stage during his performance in California, with the unknown lady scratching his ear as she tried to embrace/strangle him.

[related]Levine has since been quizzed about the incident on The Today Show, where he recalled: “She ran full speed at me, and I was, you know, singing.

“I was not aware of her. She was on me, the next thing I knew. I kind of had to, like, I guess, deal with it ’cause there was no one around.”

He continued: “So I looked at her, and I kind of held her shoulders. I’m like, ‘You need to calm down — please calm down, relax.’ And I put my arm around her.

“And then by that time, someone had managed to make their way up there [and] gingerly … remove her from the stage.”

When asked what happened to the overzealous fan, The Voice USA coach joked: “She’s in prison… No, she’s not. … I don’t think.”
