South Korea’s unstoppable septet BTS just made their first official mark on the Official Singles Chart. ‘IDOL’, taken from their recent album repackage 'Love Yourself: ‘Answer’', just gave the boy band their first Top 40 single in the UK.

Placing at No.21, ‘IDOL’ is this week’s highest new entry and is the first EVER song by a K-Pop group to enter the UK Official Chart Top 40. Back in 2012, solo K-Popper PSY's 'Gangnam Style' became the first ever K-Pop song to chart in the UK, spending a week at No.1.

Earlier this year the group made history Stateside becoming the first K-Pop act to hit No.1 on the Billboard 200 Chart and just the other day their ‘IDOL’ music video broke the all-time YouTube record for the most views in 24 hours, racking up 45 million views in its first day. It’s now also the fastest video to reach 100 million views this year.
