Geordie Shore's Gaz Beadle Speaks Out About Charlotte Crosby's Ectopic Pregnancy: 'I'm Devastated For The Both Of Us'

The Newcastle lad admits he's 'no saint' but wants to clear a few things up…

Geordie Shore's Gary 'Gaz' Beadle has spoken out for the first time since his co-star Charlotte Crosby revealed she'd tragically suffered an ectopic pregnancy with his baby.

In his exclusive Daily Star column today (1 June), the 28-year-old revealed that finding out the news with Char, 26, was 'devastating' for the pair of them.

He wrote: "Only a handful of my closest friends knew. At the end of the day, I was going to be a dad.

"We were going to be parents, then this happened. It's bloody awful. I am devastated for the both of us."

And in light of Charlotte's comments in her tell-all Heat interview this week that the couple were the closest they'd 'ever been' before Gary flew out to Thailand to film Ex On The Beach, he said they agreed to 'see what happens' when he got back.

He wrote: "I stayed at hers the night before I flew out for EOTB [Ex On The Beach] and we talked.

"This is where one of us should of (sic) actually had the balls instead of pussy-footing around, and should have just said 'let's get in a relationship', but for some reason which I don't know, we didn't."

It was during filming that Gaz received an emergency phone call from MTV that Charlotte had been rushed to hospital.

He checked up on her every day but it was Charlotte who advised him to stay out there to finish up filming.

Gaz wrote: "My main concern was making sure she was okay. I spoke to Charlotte and she said she was surviving with her mam and friends nearby, that I was under contract to continue filming, and she told me stay out there."

They spoke daily until Charlotte's close friends, Sophie Kasaei and Marnie Simpson, told her what Gaz had been getting up to in Thailand…

The pair had a massive argument over the phone a week into filming and Charlotte made it clear that it was the 'total end' of them.

And it sounds like there really is no going back for the reality star couple, as Gaz wrote: "After five years of knowing Charlotte, I am devastated it's all ended like this.

"She's right, there's no coming back from it. I wish her all the best and hope she finds someone in the next chapter of her life. I'm sorry it ended the way it did."

The Newcastle lad admits he's made mistakes along the line, but insists there's 'two sides to every story'.

He wrote: "Sorry this is so long-winded and confusing, but imagine all of this going on in your life and everybody having an opinion. Not always the right opinion. There are two sides to every story.

I know I'm no saint, but I hope this clears a few things up."
