A Fan Made Ed Sheeran His Very Own Monopoly Board & We're Desperate To Play It
That's one dedicated Sheerio...
What lengths have you gone to give your idol the best present ever? Have you made a full-on board game? Thought not. But one devoted and creative Sheerio has. Yep, Ed Sheeran has his very own Monopoly game.
Speaking to Jack Saunders during MTV Asks Ed Sheeran, the 'Shape Of You' chart-topper was asked about the best souvenirs he's received on tour and apparently he has the best fans ever...
"A girl called Jen, she's made me lots of cool presents but she made a Monopoly board of my career," he revealed. "You put rucksacks on the things instead of houses, the cards were Multiply and Plus, not Chance and Community Chest, and every venue, like the big venues were like Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden, that was like the Mayfair/Park Lane and then they all kinda went round.
"And instead of collecting stations you collect radio stations so it was like Capital FM… Yeah I play it, I do!"
Is that the only version he plays at home though? "I mean I've got Catopoly as well. Obviously."
Watch our best bits of MTV Asks Ed Sheeran playing above where we hear about his near-death experience while travelling, why he's ALWAYS polite to restaurant staff ("If you send it back, it's coming back with a bit of someone's poo on it") and more.
Meanwhile in other Ed news, his brand new album ÷ (Divide) is set to make a huge impact on the Albums Chart this week. Like, massive. In fact it features in its ENTIRETY in the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart at the moment. That's huge. No artist has EVER done that in the UK.
