Amber Butler had a tough time during last week’s Teen Mom UK series 4 premiere, with the mum getting upset over not being able to see son Brooklyn for the whole of Mother’s Day as it was his weekend with his dad and her ex, Ste Rankine.

And sadly, it looks like emotions are still raw for the lovely mum this week, as she breaks down to Ste during a heart-to-heart about things feeling “awkward” between them now.

In this first look at the upcoming episode, we first see Amber preparing a card for Ste’s birthday, explaining: “It’s another one of those days we used to spend together as a family, but now he’s always with his girlfriend Kirsty.”

She adds that it’s “even worse, it’s Easter weekend but Ste’s got Brooklyn ‘til Monday.”

After Ste arrives and opens his birthday presents, he asks Amber what she’s got planned for Easter, with the mum-of-one replying: “I don’t know I’m torn between ideas. I want to see Brooklyn but then you want to see Brooklyn so it’s just like I don’t know.”

Opening up about how the situation with Ste and his girlfriend really makes her feel, Amber continues: “You just make me feel awkward when we go on days out now Ste.”

Telling her she’s got nothing to worry about, Ste tells her: “There’s nothing to feel awkward about, we can still have a laugh. You look dead upset and it’s bothering me.”

The situation proves too much for Amber who breaks down in tears, explaining to Ste: “Can’t do anything no more (sic). We can’t because you make me feel so awkward. You’re constantly on your phone.

“This is what I’ve been trying to say to myself, this is our life now. You go live your separate life, I’ll go live my separate life.

“Last time me and you got on as friends, look what happened. I got feelings for you again so I definitely don’t want to be friends with you again so I get feelings back for you again.”

After her heartfelt explanation, Amber admits: “I just can’t stop thinking about how things used to be between us. I’ve never felt more alone than I do right now.”

Poor Amber.
