New Wolverine Movie Confirmed For 2017

20th Century Fox announces date for next solo outing for Logan - along with Fantastic Four sequel...

Another day, another big-budget superhero action movie is confirmed - and this time it's got claws.

20th Century Fox has confirmed that it will be releasing another X-Men spin-off movie to follow The Wolverine on 3 March, 2017.

And a second instalment of its Fantastic Four reboot will follow on 14 July - even though the first film hasn't started shooting yet.

Planning well ahead, the studio has also stuck a flag in the date of 13 July, 2018, for a yet-to-be-revealed movie based on its Marvel Comics properties.

In between now and then, the studio will also be releasing X-Men: Days Of Future Past this May and another mutant ensemble movie X-Men: Apocalypse in May 2016.

Director James Mangold leaked the news about the existence of another Wolverine movie a few days ago.

Hugh Jackman has reportedly been in talks about the lead role, but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
