Oh no! Rita Ora' hasdelayed the release of her brand new album.

The 'Your Song' hitmaker revealed the unfortunate news in a Facebook Live chat last night and we couldn't be sadder. We were so ready to hear all of the amazing music that Rita has been creating in the studio over the past couple of years.

Rita has been working hard on the follow-up to her Number 1 platinum album 'Ora' since 2013. However, due to legal issues with her label and co-writers, she was unable to release any of the new music that she was making for quite some time.

Then, when the former X Factor judgechanged labels, she decided to scrap a lot of the music that she had been working on. She wanted to create somethingnew and more relevant and honest to her now than what she hadalready recorded.

Earlier this year, Rita announced that the album was ready and would be out in November.

However, it seems as though that is not the case anymore.

Via Facebook, Rita answered multiple fan questions about the new album, one of them being:when is the album out?

And Rita answered that we can expect her new music "early next year".

Whether this is due to her label wanting to release more singles before the album or because Rita has been recording more new music that she wants to include on the album is yet to be confirmed but we trust that Rita knows what she's doing.

Maybe since she's become "really good friends" with Shawn Mendes, she could sneak in a duet with him?

Or maybe even one with her close friend Miley Cyrus?
