It may only be a rumour (at present), but, according to Twitter, Liam Payne has split with his girlfriend Sophia Smith.

The news spread like wildfire on social media, with 'Liam and Sophia'trending all morning, but reaction has been somewhat divided.

Sophia's social meida is all set to private, so no one really knows if she's deleted anything. But fan accounts were quick to brush off break-uprumours...
Fans were left devastated last week when the boys pulled out of their Belfast gig just minutes before they were due to perform, becauseLiam was too ill.
We're sure there are some Directioners reading too muchinto that and possibly connecting the two, but it seems the 1D star was genuinely poorly and is in no way related.
