A statement from the palace [uuid=e36c5e0a-ded8-4704-8536-0c4cb257edd0]yesterday described the pictures[/uuid] - of Wills and Kate on holiday in Provence - as "reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales".
"Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house," the statement added. "It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them."
