One Direction’s High Flying Dinner Date

The boys turn flight attendants to raise money for charity…

The One Direction boys have been doing their bit for charity, hosting a high-flying dinner date on a British Airways jet over London yesterday.

Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik raised £50,000 for Flying Start, British Airways' charity in partnership with Comic Relief, according to Digital Spy.
The boys wore charity T-shirts and acted as flight attendants to a group of lucky fans who won tickets in a competition. The hour-long flight from London to Manchester had the original flight number of BA1D.
Mary Barry, British Airways community investment manager, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to team up with One Direction for this fantastic competition and we’re so grateful to them for giving us this chance to raise lots of money for Flying Start."

We told you recently how Liam Payne denied the band would split up to pursue solo careers.
