Ronnie Wood's ‘Thirst’

South London band The Thirst get 'Ready To Move' with single...

The Thirst, have been touring up and down the country this summer playing all of the main festivals and they're going to embark on a European tour after the release of their debut single 'Ready To Move' on 29 October.

The guys are playing at The Fridge, Brixton London, on this Friday October 26 with GoodBooks, The Natives and Wolfman. Wolfman is set to play 'For Lovers' and it's rumored that he'll have a pretty special guest performing with him (as long there are no guilty verdicts on the day!!!)...

Producer Jake Fior, of Babyshambles and Libertines fame, produced the single and told us that he's been working in the studio with the guys on their album "The Thirst have not just raised the bar in terms of Independent music, they have levitated it.'

Brothers 'Mensah' and 'Kwame Cofi-Agyeman', with 'Mark Lenihan' and 'Marcus Harris' are the first band to be signed by Ronnie Wood's (of The Rolling Stones) label, and after selling out their debut EP in just two weeks there are high expectations for the release.

"These guys clearly belong on stage, they have a serious sound, raw talent and don't disregard the power of lyrics like so many bands do these days." (Ronnie Wood)
