Kaiser Chiefs' New Album

EXCLUSIVE: The band tell MTV all about their third LP and working with Lily Allen

Kaiser Chiefs have announced that their new album will be called Off With Their Heads and will be released October 13. The record was co-produced by Mark Ronson and Elliot James and features vocals from Lily Allen, New Young Pony Club and rapper Sway. The first single from their third LP will be Never Miss a Beat which will be out October 6. Ricky Wilson and Nick Hodgson spoke exclusively to MTV News about the new material. Songwriter and drummer Nick said: We had some songs but there were only about three and Mark Ronson wanted to work with us. We met up with him, he sounds, he was a funny guy and he got he had the same sort of sense of humour and we thought lets go in the studio with him and record and the recording sounded fantastic. Ricky added: We didnt hire Mark Ronson for him to make us sound like a Version- we hired him for 45 a day! Wilson told us he enjoyed working with Lily Allen and that he had a surprise when in the studios vocal booth. He said: Id written out the lyrics when I went in later it said, Lilly Allen wos here on it. Nick added: I videoed her singing for us on my phone. The album track listing is below: 1.
