Brie Larson Reacts To Being Cast As Captain Marvel & It's Hilarious

Brie Larson is in talks to play the lead in Marvel's first female-led movie.

Sooo Brie Larson is apparently in talks to play the lead role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s FIRST EVER female-led movie,' Captain Marvel.'

But when we called it last year, Brie had a hilarious reaction to playing the pilot-turned-badass-superhero in the upcoming blockbuster.

We were chatting to Brie in 2015 about 'Room' - which she won her Best Actress Oscar for earlier this year – and we COULDN’T HELP but ask her for her thoughts on playing the super strong hero.

“So would I be playing a man? This is interesting, I’m kind of into it… I thought I was always forever going to be stuck playing female roles but I’m down to play Chris Evans,” she revealed to MTV, adorably mixing up Marvel’s male and female Captains.

“Oh wait no, Chris Evans is Captain America. Who’s Captain Marvel? I have no idea what I’m talking about.”

“But people want me to play this? OK good to know. I guess I gotta start reading the comic book!

Did she know what she was talking about all along? You Punk’d us, Brie!

Watch the interview above to see the cute lols unfold.

Captain Marvel is scheduled to hit cinemas July 6th 2018. Expect more details before the end of the summer.
