New Wolverine Featurette Released

Video sheds light on the storyline behind upcoming Marvel spin-off...

A new video revealing some of the story behind the upcoming The Wolverine movie has been released by Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox.
The featurette, which includes film footage as well as interviews with star Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold, makes reference to Wolverine as a 'ronin', a samurai without a purpose.
With the film picking up where X-Men: The Last Stand ends, Wolverine is "more isolated" than ever before, and as Hugh Jackman reveals, "more of a monster".
The movie follows Wolverine to Japan, where he confronts a figure from his past, encountering danger in the form of Viper and the Silver Samurai, and experiencing vulnerability for the first time.
Jackman explains: "Wolverine is the ultimate outsider. And in our movie, which takes place after X-Men 3, he's probably more isolated than you've ever seen Wolverine. He has lost hope, and it's a dangerous place for someone as powerful as Wolverine."
The Wolverine - also starring Will Yun Lee, Rila Fukushima and Tao Okamoto, is released in UK cinemas on 26 July.
