Snoop: Best VMAs Speech Ever?
Snoop Dogg proved he had no beef with his rap rivals last night when he gave his blessing "and a gong for Best Rap Video" to newcomer Chamillionaire.
The Dogg looked the er, shizzle, as he swaggered on stage to present the award - with Nas, Jay-Z, T.I and Kanye looking on.
"Yeh, whadyado?" he drawled, "It's crazy to be up here and looking at the list of nominees for 'Best Rap Video'.
I realised some of these young guns were still in their (diapers) when the Dogg Father first started verbal slanging.
You understand what Im talking about? They make me feel like an old G, a real old G, nephew.
But you know the deal," he went on, "the double G still got love for everybody in the gang: newcomers, up-and-comers and old-timers, whatever."
"If you can rhyme, the Top Dog will always bless you. And the cream always rises to the top."
"I feel like smokin' something but I'm on MTV so I'm goin' to drink something instead."
