Star Wars Gamers Made This Tribute To Carrie Fisher & It's Beautiful

Even the Sith joined in.

Star Wars fans are some seriously dedicated folk, yet even their ample love for that alternative universe can surprise sometimes.

Fans have gathered, virtually, to pay honour to Princess Leia actor Carrie Fisher who recently passed away.

The community of 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' gathered across the game’s servers over the holidays to show love for Fisher. Gamers assembled together in House Organa, the place Leia called her adopted home.

This wasn’t a one-sided affair though, all were welcome. Even enemy Sith attended the event - despite that meaning they had to fight through droid guards just to get into the building.

'Star Wars: The Old Republic' creator, Charles Boyd, congratulated the fans for their efforts via his Twitter account.

Carrie Fisher passed away on 27 December at the age of 60. Her character Leia is not currently in the 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' games due to the timelines but players are petitioning for a statue in her honour to be built in that world.
